I'm pretty sure we flew Thai Air. From what I recall, if the baby does not have a seat, you don't get an extra carry on. However, a laptop can serve as a "personal" item I think. That means you could take a carry-on and a laptop. I'd check to see if this is true to make sure. The last times I've flown, I've had a lap top and a carry-on. As far as the pack and play goes, you could check it as a bag. If you have a large duffle bag, you could pack it in that and put clothes around it. That's my idea anyway. As far as a stroller goes, not that you've asked, that doesn't count as a carry-on. Just drop it at the gate right as you get on the plane.
Did you ask for bulk head so you get the bassinet?
