Controversial Urinals in Vienna

Having been in Vienna last summer, I was disappointed to learn a little too late about a most extraordinary bathroom.
The Toilet-Bar Vienna is a small public bathroom located in an underpass near the National Opera. As you can see from the photo above, this is no ordinary bathroom. For the small price of just 75 cents, patrons of the urinal arts can relieve themselves in some of the most decorative urinals ever conceived by man.
Unfortunately, someone blabbed their mouth off to the opposite gender and local women's rights groups eventually forced the proprietors to remove the sexist objects.
The creator of the lip urinals eventually sold them on eBay, so who knows where they might appear next. If you happen to run across them in a bathroom located in some sexist corner of the globe, don't tell anyone!

I thought Vienna and Austria had more style. These urinals are obviously intended to shock.

Umm...is that an actual toilet though? I mean, there's a bar right above the urinals (for a drink I presume), and windows right above that (showing another bar?), and what appears to be a table directly behind...
Were there working urinals or just art? Personally, I'm not really offended by these urinals (though I'm a female)...probably because we know those wacky Austrians are into some odd canoodling behavior!

Miss, who honestly cares that you're a woman. Women have always been each others worst enemies, and you're no exception. It isn't funny portraying women's mouths as filthy urinals where men will stick their di--s. It isn't *just* a funny object, it sends a message that portraying women this way is funny. Perhaps someone should punch you every time they disagree with something you do.

I subscribe to fair play which is why I boycott Trojans and use another brand for those pig commercials . Having said that I think these things are childish and stupid should be removed.

When I first looked at the picture, I saw cartoon-y funny mouths, not necessarily a mans or a womans. And I don't think that because its a mouth it has to represent fellatio. In fact, I'm pretty sure that the only person would look at this, giggle, and think of that act probably has the maturity of a 12 year old boy. Also a question: why was it that they were removed for having the toilet mouths rather than having a urinal less than 2 feet away from a bar? Health codes?

they could be men's lips. Some men wear lipstick...weird colors too. I like them. I'm a woman...I don't find them offensive in any way.
