Who Have You Run Into On Your Travels?
Everyone reckons it's a small world. Six degrees of separation and all that. To prove it, I want to find out from readers what famous faces they've chanced upon in their travels. Here's my list.
- Actress Jane Fonda on a racing bike stopped at traffic lights in Toronto.
- Singer George Michael at a Wimpy burger bar in London.
- Actor Mandy Patinkin in the Air New Zealand lounge at LAX.
- Actor Matt Dillon at a screening of Scorcese's Last Temptation of Christ in New York.
- Beat poet Lawrence Ferlinghetti at the City Lights bookshop in San Francisco.
Thanks to scott92007 on Flickr for the pic of the world's best bookshop.

Neat topic!
Here's my list:
George Bush Sr., Warsaw, Poland (He was going by in his motorcade. I could just see him waving.)
Queen Elizabeth outside a movie theater in London. She was there for an opening. I was walking by and stopped to watch her come out.
Michael J. Fox when he was filming Bright Lights Big City in Manhattan. I turned the corner somewhere between 5th Avenue and Broadway and saw the film crew set up. I waited for him to come out of his trailer.
Princess Anne when she was eating in the same restaurant I was eating at in The Gambia. I just saw the back of her head since she was in another room.
Actress Diane Keaton at a movie theater in West Hollywood.
Actor Wally Shawn outside a friend's apartment in NYC.
Magician David Copperfield at Narita Airport in Japan. (Actually, I didn't see him. My husband did. I was getting something to eat and he disappeared before I came back.)
Michael Jackson when he was at the Broadway production of Oliver. He walked right by me.

I sat next to the rapper, DMX, on a flight back from Paris. Let me tell you - that was more fun than the trip itself.
