My wife and I visited the Ice Caves a few years ago and it was an unforgettable experience! It is amazingly beautiful, and well worth the effort.
Do be forewarned .. 1) the inside temperature is quite cold even when it's very hot outside. 2) there is a considerable number of stairs to climb, and the terrain is constantly rising while climbing. One needs a warm jacket to do this tour, and perhaps even gloves, because there is often ice coating the handrails for some of the stairs.
Even so, it is well worth the visit!
