Going Alone: Tips for a Safe and Pleasant Solo Journey

That's my favorite part. I started doing the traveling solo thing a few years ago and I've been changed as a result for the good. I'm comfortable with who I am, dining alone, learning to ask strangers for help and getting myself out of situations.

Now I'm cool with going somewhere where I don't know the language and being polite and kind, through 25+ countries and 6 continents. And it makes the bad days seem brighter when you can think of all the times you've been lost somewhere and got out of it.
