http://www.base2stay.com (correct link to hotel site!) is the one place I, as a travel writer, recommend to people visiting London.
Just to be clear, though, it's not a pod hotel - the rooms are cheap because they got rid of restaurants, kitchens and such like - you get a room with a kitchenette, great beds and you can bring in / order in your choice of food.
Sure keeps the price down! Alun
