There is something about the hairstyles of this couple that really caught my eye in a way that your typical silhouette shot rarely does and I guessed almost immediately that it must have been shot in Africa.

According to the photographer, this beautiful scene was indeed captured in Namibia overlooking Fish River Canyon. I sort of wish the water bottle wasn't there, but otherwise, this is just a fantastic shot.

This photo's really lovely, but it reminds me of something silly: a soapstone sculpture of Marge Simpson's head I saw on Neatorama, carved by a group of master sculptors in Kenya: http://www.neatorama.com/index.php?s=marge simpson&Submit=Go
They'll even carve the head of Sideshow Bob.

Just thought I should say - I LOVE the water bottle!! I'm no professional artist, but I love and practice art, and that bright green, transluscent touch is one of my favorite parts of the picture. That, and the way she's sitting - you can almost see their facial expressions, hear their conversation...
