It's funny how people are the same all over, and yet we all want to have our own identities and clicks to feel like we belong. Mostly people just want to know that they are safe and that their way of life is going to be ok , and that there is good, and everyone is working towards that good (how ever they choose to work as long as it's going in the same direction). Here in Washburn if your great grandparents are not buried on the hill then you not from here. The only problem is that there are more of us outsiders than locals now. And we have big high flalutin ideas on how things should be done. Some good and some not so good. People that weather storms together are more accepting of differences because they know that they can count on the other person to be there and help. Stephanie is right they are all soft inside and probably would love to get to know you and hear about your travels around the world over a cup of coffee in the morning before returning to work. In time they might even want to know what you have been up to and help you out around your place just to get to hear more of those stories. Good luck with the breakfast club.
