John was great. I must say that the VIP private tour of the Vatican is far undersold and does not do justice for what you receive. It costs $500 per person and is worth 10 times that amount. We got to go to places within the Vatican that are completely off limits to the public. No waiting and immediate entrance. Luigi (the guide) is pricelss. He has worked in the Vatican for 20 years and has special privileges. THis is an unconscious life experience and the ship sells it as just another shore excursion. Luigi, you are a true gem my friend and we think about our trip through the Vatican with you all the time. I hope you are still there next time we are in Rome.
