The Best U.S. Cities for Singles

Girls, looking to travel to a bachelor-heavy area? The Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana metro area, for instance, has the highest population of single males, with 40,000 more than single women. On the flip side, guys, the New York-Newark urban area has 185,000 more single women than men.
What I find particularly interesting is Texas. Dallas, Austin, and Houston all have more single men than women, while San Antonio has more single women. With the influx of military personnel in San Antonio, I would have figured the opposite.

It's odd that, generally speaking, there's a dividing line down the middle of the country. It's like everyone is still in elementary school, and the girls are on one side of the playground and the boys are on another.

What these statistics don't show is how many of these people are single by choice. I'm a fairly attractive, 35 year old single male who's been jerked around enough to ebrace the single lifestyle. I answer to me and don't have to worry if my spouse is sleeping with my best friend.

Toby I think they have an island for you that isnt listed and for all the others that use "single by choice" instead of "scared to talk to girls". Its called game, learn it, you might find a date and then can take yourself off this map. Wow I would have thought Hawaii would have more women. Im moving to Miami so I can throw sand at girls instead of snow. ;)
