Where to Find the Simpsons-Themed 7-Elevens
Remember that story we posted a few months back about the possibility of a dozen or so 7-Elevens being morphed into Kwik-E-Marts to promote the forthcoming Simpsons movie? If you hadn't heard yet, it happened. Eleven stores across the United States were completely remodeled, while 6,000 more joined in the fun by selling Simpsons-themed snacks like Buzz Cola, KrustyO's cereal and Squishees.Here's a list of the 11 remodeled stores, complete with directions on how to find them.

Went to the one here in Denver. It was a madhouse. all of the employees were wearing Kwik-e-mart outfits and seemed to be in pretty good spirits, though. I hope the KrustyO's don't suck.

I absloutely would love to go to a Kwik-E mart. The whole idea of a themed gas station is brilliant. Talk about making a boring regular experience interesting and engaging. Now, as long as they don't start bumping prices up amidst the bells and whistles, I am going to start the rally cry for a Sponge Bob-themed one. I would love to pick up a crabby patty.

Thanks for this public service! I wouldn't worry about the KrustyOs-- this Flickr set has a closeup of the front of the box, which depicts the cereal containing the requisite worms, nails and bits of jagged metal, just like in the show:

@ tai-go: The Springfield in the Simpsons is actually in Kentucky.
A side note, I live in Pittsburgh, and in our tiny little downtown area, we actually have a store called the Kwik-E-Mart; it's been there for at least 5 years.

Yea, in Kentucky, which is why Springfield has a harbor. I know which episode you're thinking of, but the reveal in Behind the Laughter was meant as a joke.

Actually, where "Springfield" is actually located is a mystery and has been a running gag on the show since it started... So lil' ones, you can stop the aruguing about who's state hosts the legendary "Springfield."
