I live less than two miles from the 2012 Olympic Village. I think we have many things to learn - from Gadling, some of these things would be attitudes between providers and clients (ie. shops and customers), and between able and differently-abled, and re green issues.

Hackney - where I live - places itself as an issues-aware borough but, really, it isn't any better than most others.

Also, someone I know is coming to Xian and Shanghai for several weeks later this year....
