Also, remember the economy is different in all places of the world, but everything ,usually is generally the same ,when you weigh everything out.Or close to it.

Wow, somebody voted for Gore(y), or (Scary) Kerry? (By the way, Scary Kerry was President Bush's last adversary, not Gore(y), so if you're going to make comments, try to know of what you wish to discuss)
Oh, and did you know that according to certain mental midgets in our own USA that it is Bush's fault that we have hurricanes and tornadoes? Yeah, we should have elected Gore(y), huh, as he IS the man who invented the internet (uh huh) and he carries on about Global Warming (my backside) yet uses 20 times more energy than the average American. And those of you who don't like Americans....we have invited all of you to come and share our blessings and come to the aide of all of our 'allies', yet you hate us? We are the only country to take up arms to defend the REST of the world since WWII, and yet you hate us? We could all be speaking German and be getting ready to wear bertkas and speak Arabic and yet you hate us? We are, after all, descendants of Europe, Asia, Africa, etc...etc....
And as for President Bush, he's a Christian man who believes in fighting for the freedom of people not only in America, but of any country who desires freedom. Yeah, uh huh, a bad guy, huh? He's about the most decent of World Leaders at this time, but just an easy target because he's the most powerful leader in the free world.
And about gas....we gotta go where we gotta go and gotta get there the way we gotta get there. How 'bout some of these geniuses inventing a different type of vehicle and then having the good old American know-how to market it and change this plight that we ALL seem to be in.
Personally, I wish we'd close our borders and isolate and feed our own hungry and fight our own wars....oh, yeah, we already fight our own wars and everyone else's too. We're such cads!! War, the cost of freedom in a world full of others who resent it and wish to suppress you. If I'm going to raped, I'd rather die fighting it than submit to the rape. ANY day.

To the person who posted #250 -
People say "american" because thats who we are. Ask a Canadian, or a Mexican, or a Columbian if they are American and they will say no. Living on a continent called 'America' doesn't make one an American, it makes them a person living on a continent that happens to be called 'America', but in truth they are Colombian, Canadian, Peruvian, etc etc. "American" is the term for people living in the territory known as 'USA'.
For the person who posted #253.
I didn't choose to live in America. What makes you think I did? Just because I'm still here? I was born here, I didn't have a choice in the matter. If I wanted to I would move elsewhere, I've looked into it, but the place I want to move won't allow me to become a citizen since I don't have a career skill that fits their economic needs. And even if I did, the price of gas is sucking my account dry, therefore I can't afford to buy a plane ticket and move my stuff.
Now if you two wouldn't mind, please snorkle my arse sweat.

Must be nice to live in a country where public transportation is available. We have very little if any. Geez, I live in a city with 1 million people and we don't even have a train/rail system. The bus system does not cover much of the city either. You have no choice but to drive and the city is spread out. Nothing is within walking distance. This is America, it' sucks, you have no choice but to drive here. Those who set the gas prices no we have no choice and they will get our money. Hummers are rare. I get 30-35 miles to the gallon.

Britain's national average gasoline price topped 1 pound per liter, or about $8 a gallon.. While British drivers are feeling the pinch, the government is gaining revenue because about 80 percent of the cost of gas is tax
If England didn't produce "almost all of the oil it consumes" they'd be paying $30 dollars a gallon.. the American government's corrupt but Bush could take lessons from the English
Britain produces almost all the oil it consumes, But Britain's North Sea oil production is dwindling. When England has to inport it's crude oil the price will go sky high
Gasoline Prices as of May 2007
Most expensive per gallon:
London, UK: $6.65-Paris, France: $6.62-Copenhageen,
Denmark: $6.51-Oslo, Norway: $6.48-Berlin, Germany:$6.42
California is the most expensive in the States, right now we're at 4 dollars a gallon
Least expensive per gallon:
Caracas, Venezuela: $0.17-Tehran, Iran: $0.33-Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: $0.45-Kuwait City: $0.79-Cairo, Egypt: $0.86

Go back two years and see the difference.. http://bigpicture.typepad.com/comments/2005/05/gas_prices_from.html
Price increases generally occur when the world crude-oil market tightens and lowers inventories. We've been at war with OPEC since 1973 and so has every other western and non Muslim country on the planet
The problem is that oil's located in the wrong part of the planet, under the control of people (dictators) with one view, the elimination of all US infidels and oil is their main weapon.. as long as nations need it.. their going to sock it to us until we are broke and wondering around in the wilderness like Mosses
BTW.. yes we do have a President that isn't smarter than a fifth grader, he wasn't elected , he was appointed by our Supreme Court, by men that his daddy appointed to that court
