Your grandfather is probably looking down from above and smiling at this experience. When I accompanied him to the University of Toronto Dental Faculty, at the age of 18, while he was a still a member of the faculty, he toured me around a very similar facility. It was very interesting, and although I didn't pursue a career in dentistry, it was an experience that I will always remember. Some of the dental students were pretty handsome too. Mostly, I recall how proud I felt of him and his skills as a dentist. I find it amazing that you actually had a similar experience, but on the other side of the globe. Wow! That gives me goose bumps. Ember, you never cease to surprise me. You are so special!
