Photo of the Day (6/14/07)

A mosquito coil and a local beer.
This photo, more so than the more technically beautiful ones you might find in our Gadling Flickr Pool, so perfectly sums up travel as we know and love it here at Gadling. I can just imagine the warm, tropical nights, the refreshing beverages, and the endless conversation with fellow travelers who just met earlier that day.
Thanks go out to OurManWhere who managed to take me back to my days in South East Asia staring at similar looking bottles with equally foreign brand names emblazoned on them. I'm sure Willy can appreciate this shot as well.

How much more effective a bottle is at holding a mosquito coil than a (melt-able) radio... I wish I had thought of that way back then.
Never had a Tona beer. Maybe ourman can send us a 6-pack since we chose his picture.

Sorry the postage would be way too much. For your info it's quite light but that works well in this heat. I prefer it with ice and lime if that is not too girly.
Talking of bugs. I just got freaked out by this in my kitchen cupboard:

Check out www.dalepuessurftours.com for a killer tour on the north coast of Nicaragua. The waves are incredible, the scenery is beautiful, and the experiences are what dreams are made of.
