Hey, that sign that says "watch your head" is from a Burger King in Portland, Maine. It's about 5 miles from my apartment. I use to go by it every other day.

Yea, ya gotta luv those goofy signs. I remember going through PA and first passing Virginville, then Blue Ball, then finally Intercourse, PA. HA. Living in NJ we just have Buttzville among others that I can't thing of at the moment. I remember also driving through I think it was Florida seeing a sign for Yee Haw Junction.

There's a little town in Washington State called Pe-Ell. When our improv troupe drove through in the winter of 1969 there was a gas war on, 17.9 cents a gallon.

The "toilet of modern art" is actually a pretty lame thing. And yes I had to pay to get in there. One of the most interesting signs I've seen along my travels. Germany also has "Frog Caution" signs. What a hoot!

Actually, I have a question rather than a comment. In the "Nipple Convalescent Home," do the men's nipples and women's nipples convalesce in separate rooms?
Make that two questions. Are there visiting hours?
Make that three questions. Would tea and a light repast be served?

Have you seen the Flickr group called "Stick Figures in Peril"? They've got over 9,000 photos; some of the captions and comments are pretty funny:
