I have a Vox blog which is just all about the funny signs I see– mostly around Bristol, England. I live there, but I'm American.

PA must be the Stupid Sign Capital of the World.
Didn't have my camera when I drove past the convenience store with this sign in the window:
Homo Milk $3.95/gal
Now there's a job... milking homos.

Signs: You gotta love um! I once saw a sign in a large paint warehouse that said: "In case of fire evacuate building" Strange, I would have only thought to scratch my ass. Another sign I love is the one on cans that are marked: "Trash Only" WTF, I was gonna throw my shoes and wallet in there! But my favorite is "Post no bills".... Didn't they just do that? Actually thats a warning that they've baited the area with poison for the local rabbits etc. Which i imagine would effect the wolves/foxes locally also.
Either way it is a bit silly.

The Ham Sandwich sign used to be down the road from me, but it kept getting stolen so it has been replaced with 2 seperate signs. That sign is world famous. (And yes the sandwich was invented in Sandwich, by the Earl of Sandwich.) gotta love Kent.

Since when did Ireland have wolves? And does the poison work on holidaying rabbits who are just visiting their sick relatives? (presumably because they have eaten the poison)

Those are pretty good. I snapped a picture of the "Get Nailed and Body Sanctuary" when I was in Scotland too. One of those gems you find along your travels.

What about rain? Does it leak through that door too? Why don't you put a sign up "No Raining"! How about drinking lemonade?

The one about the poisoned land is a warning that poison has been laid for wandering dogs who often attack and kill sheep. It also serves as a warning to people not to take their dogs onto the land. Very often no poison has been laid at all, but who would risk their dogs life.
