Here in Hudson County, New jersey, on the west shore of the Hudson River, we have not one but two major roads named "J.F. Kennedy Boulevard". The first is simply referred to as Kennedy Boulevard but the second is never, ever called by its official name of "J.F. Kennedy Boulevard East", not by the cops, firemen, the town's politicians or even the Post Office! Everyone just calls it "Boulevard East".

The folks who weren't satisfied with naming one major road after the President, but needed two, really let enthusiasm (or grief) get the better of them.
