If you’re the type of person who tends to see mysterious flashing lights in the night sky and often wakes up with painful probed orifices, the Roswell UFO Festival just might be the place for you.
This annual event kicks it up a notch this year with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of what UFOlogists claim was a crash landing of an alien spacecraft in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947.
The event itself almost seems normal. The four-day festival, July 5-8, will feature parades, helicopter rides, UFO carnival rides, a golf tournament, motorcycle rally, corn maze, workshops, costume contest, symposiums, book signings, and musical entertainment.
If you ask me, however, the very best entertainment will most certainly be the 50,000 enthusiasts who are anticipated to show up for this event.
