There is actually a site that provides similar capabilites online, nothing to download. TripWiser http://www.tripwiser.com . This is an Ajax-based trip and itinerary building site, with thousands of available itineraries for travel in the United States and Canada that can be customized. I particularly love their drag-and-drop functionality for scheduling.
