As an American living in Buenos Aires Argentina where kissing in public places is the norm, and I mean kissing. I sometimes want to yell out "Get a room". But I am living in a different culture where boys and girls, men and women greet each-other with a kiss on the cheek, and I mean everyone.
I lived in Hollywood California for forty years, and I know know the feeling of being kissed on the cheek by a male friend --that ackward moment of macho bullshit.
Now to the guy and girl on the the plane,I say Sieze the moment,But ask for a blanket, There used to be a time when it was an honor to be a member of the Mile High Club. Now as the stu's get older and there sweet flowers of yesterday shivel, and their memory of the time Billy Joel nailed her in the head, is only a secret moment with her vibrator on a rainyday.
Kissing in public maybe inappropriate, It may push a button in each of us that says" I remember when we were that way".I wrote a song once that said, "We never kiss in the penetrating way that used to turn you on".
We live in an uptight world now, but when things get me down, I go to my memories of the sixties where we lived in the moment of love , a time of --fuck-it who cares what they think, take another toke and forget it!!!!!---R-----------------
