Don't know if anyone ever goes back to this site, but as some people posted here in 2011, here's a follow up to my comment on June 11th;

In retrospect, I would drop Tel Aviv from my list of best cities to visit, although of course I'll keep Jerusalem. I would add Chiang Mai and Bangkok, which are on the list in the article, now that I've visited them. I should have added Zermatt (Swiss) to my original list, one of the most beautiful towns and areas in the world, along with Vatican City, which is technically separate from Rome and has possibly the best collection of art in the world.
