Hey, thanks a lot for the shout-out, and congratulations on the Official Honoree status. We're pretty honoured to have been picked out of a field of such highly-qualified travel sites. It's pretty amazing what travellers can do when they work together.

Personally I think the Guardian's 'been there' site is great. It doesn't have the traffic of Tripadvisor, but everyone writing there seems to care about how they write, as well as what they write. There's some really good stuff, and it tends to be a little off the beaten track.
It's also a nice example of a print/dotcom meld - the best tips on a single location are taken out each week and printed in the travel section on Saturdays.
