Which Country Has the Most Frequent Sex?
Durex recently released its Sexual Wellbeing Global Survey for 2007-08. Among the many conclusions they drew from the 26,000+ respondents was which country has the most frequent sex. I guess olives and feta cheese are aphrodisiacs, as the Greeks came out on top with 87% of them responding that they had sex on a weekly basis. Rounding out the top 3 spots were Brazil and Russia, neither of which are known for olives and feta, so I suppose my hypothesis is wrong. In any event, the USA limped in at 19th place with only 53% respondents claiming weekly satisfaction.
To clarify: this does not imply that by traveling to one of these countries, YOU are likely to have more frequent sex. It just explains why your tour guides are all so happy.

Jon, you're right: there's no way 53% of Americans are having sex on a weekly basis. That figure must be much lower.

The results of this study were provided by a condom company. Compair this list to which company has the lowest rate of sales and which company has the highest rate of STD's and pregnancies, then we will have some real figures.

I like the title, "Which Country has the most frequent sex?" A country having sex? I think that's called an "invasion" and in that case, we'll have to resequence the list. Which will surely cause our rating to rise.

just remember that just cuz some of you have sex often doesn't mean we all do. me and my boyfriend definitely bring down that percentage. he's too tired to have sex so he just wants handjobs or blowjobs but doesn't want to 69 which i don't think is fair so then he masturbates. it sucks. i could go 20 times a day if i had someone with the right libido.

Obviously, as our great commentators point out, a self-report
surveyis biased. Nev (May 1,2007 06:55 comment) is right on. Even if
thesurvey had been balanced, & done correctly in re: "sex
rates",consider this: as Nev points out, the "rates" were of sex
likelyinvolving condoms (likely one brand of condom), hence
precludingcountries where that brand of condom is not marketed, or
where ruralpopulations cannot be reached to survey, sex without a
male, andprobably people without the Internet. So, as we say here in
middleschool, where questioning minds seek genuine answers and use of
the*scientific method*, fa-gedda-bowd-dit.Glaring omissions include
the countries with the highest birth rates, HIV and other STD rates,
andthat doesn't begin to include non-hetero sex (who defines
