Today is Free Cone Day at Ben and Jerry's

Since it's always a good idea to save some money while traveling, treat yourself today with a free cone from Ben and Jerry's. Coincidentally, this is also a horrible day for your website to be down (Ben...Jerry....I'm looking at you), as there's no way to search the location database to find the store nearest you. Keep trying though, folks. Get your free cone if it's the only thing you do today. Use Google to search out the nearest location (try the query "Ben and Jerry's near your zip code") while the ice cream IT department fixes the website.

According to this article, it's not just a U.S. promotion. "Participating national and international shops will throw open their doors and scoop out free cones all day long." Participating. They always get you with that.

So no matter where you are across the globe today, search out your free cone. Me? Well, since there's no store close to me, I'm going to head for my nearest grocery store and steal a pint from the freezer. It's only fair, right?
