I just wanted to let people know swaptree isn't as great as it sounds. I joined swaptree 5/24/08 and thought it was going to be great, boy was I wrong.
Idid everything I was supose to do and made two trades with two different people. they recieved the dvds I sent out but I have not recieved theirs as of yet, still waiting. both users sent in feed back and I have a 100 % trading rate and no pending trades.
For some reason unknown to me I tryed to trade some more dvds and every time I tryed to get a dvd it said that item is no longer available, ok someone traded that dvd and it isn't off of the list, no problem right? well I have not been able to trade since then, every item that I try to get is now unavailable. what gives, Have sent swaptree several e-mails and they would not respond. So I sent them an e-mail telling them that in the discussion area that no responce happens alot and it looked like to me that there was noone from swaptree was monitoring the site anymore and asked if they were closing the site .
Well what do you know they resonded back (can you believe it)saying that they take their customer service serious. well when they took the time to send that e-mail why didn't they go ahead and tell me why I was getting "item not available" on everything I was trying to trade for. I signed on as a different user and went to the discussion area and what do you know they had erased all of my comments(none of them were mean) I guess they didn't want other users to know what I was going through. Just thought you should know about this site and let people know to use caution. I still don't know why this happened, I guess they didn't like me e-mailing them asking why this was happening. If you do join, I hope you have better luck than I did.

you are absolutely right about this, swaptree needs to handle their business better than that, i have been on there site for like 6 months, i liked it until they suspended my account for a book that i did not send to a trader ,at that time being new to the site, i was not familiar with 3-way trading, so i did not send in the book, so this was like 5 months ago.. ok,, the trader that i didnot send the book to never did inquire about it,.. so i didnt think no more of it, so in july she came on the site and filed an ..INR..against me that she never received the book, so swaptree had sent me an e-mail and stated that i wont be able to do anymore trades until the trader retreives her item..so i tried to contact her.. but she never did come back on the site to response to my messages that i sent to her...so im like she must dont care about ..swaptree anymore!, so to make a long story short.. i end up purchasing the book at a local bookstore to send to her on aug 31.. and mailed it with a delivery confirmation number for proof that i did send the book,.. so the book did arrived to her as status of the DC number on sept.3..2010.. after then i sent swaptree a notification to let them know that the book was sent out ...i sent them 6 e-mails, got no response,..thi s been like 3 weeks ago.. still no response.. that is ..bad business.. also they never answer the ph one when i made attempts to call either...so many people have left their site, so there must be something wrong about this..i will never in hell! recommend this site to no one,, the system there is really screwed up..really they needs to be reported to the BBB..well i just wanted to reply to you concerning this, at least someone is taking this matter seriously.....thanks!
