StashCard for your Laptop
While traveling, I usually hide little stashes of cash in various places in case I get mugged or robbed. The one time my money belt was stolen, I had enough cash spread about that I was able to survive for a couple of days before getting my traveler checks replaced.
A cool little product on the market right now provides just one more place to hide your cash. The StashCard is a tiny compartment that slides into the open slot on your laptop and disappears.
Of course, hiding cash in your laptop is a bit like hiding money in your expensive camera; a thief will often steal your electronics faster than your wallet. Nonetheless, I still think it is rather cool. Even if you decide not to use it for emergency cash, the StashCard is also large enough to hold credit cards, memory cards, keys and more.

What next? A hidey hole in your diamond encrusted watch? A slot where big enough to hide $10 in your $10,000 watch.
Laptop with a stash hole? That's daft.

It's not daft. Clearly you haven't had to deal with Congolese customs officials (thieves) that search almost every nook and cranny on your person and your belongings looking for $USD. However, they usually don't open the lid of your laptop (my favorite hiding spot) and they certainly wouldn't be clever enough to push the eject button to eject this card. It's smart if used for the right reason.
