Pilot Thrown Off Plane for Cursing
Isn't this supposed to be the other way around, where the passenger is thrown off for disrupting the flight? Apparently not.First-class passengers aboard a Northwest Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Detroit heard the pilot step aboard on his cellphone, "swearing up a storm," saying, "'F this' and 'F that.'" They confronted the pilot, who became even more irate, swearing at passengers. LVPD and the FAA were called, who pulled the pilot off the plane for questioning. The flight was eventually canceled.
Good move by the passengers, I say. I wouldn't want an irate, swearing pilot flying the plane I'm on -- because I know what I do if I'm mad and get behind the wheel: pay less attention to my driving and more attention to whatever it is I'm mad about. I don't know about you, but I'd want the full attention of the pilot focused on the job of flying the plane.

Maybe the pilot was from NY. This is just normal conversation in NY.

It shows how stuck up snobs First Class Passengers are. They are idiots, they had their flighs cancelled. They had to be from Miami, to wine so much.

Pilots gone wild! Another reason pilots shouldn't carry weapons or anyone one else on a plane!!

Language out of control what other thought processes are impaired. Ever wonder why some head on car accidents have zero reasons for happening. Try suicide. That would have been extreme outcome of this Pilots mental state. Apprehensive passengers don't need another stressful indicator before having a panic anxiety attack. The Military blamed suicide on a Pilot Flying an A-10 Warthog into a mountain?

F You and F Me as Eddie Murphy has said in movies. Its the tone and demeanor that gives away the persons stability. His loss of control is shown by doing this in front of passengers. It was appropriate to turn this Pilot in before it could have been to late.

He should have been arrested. A passenger exhibiting that same behavior would have been, and the pilot should and must be held to, at least, that standard. There should also have been a better type of compensation for the passengers. Easter is very important to some people, and to have this moron's behavior disturb that is not acceptable.
And, by the way, an aside to "giovanni": I fly first class all the time and I am not a "stuck up snob". I'm tall and the extra legroom makes for a tolerable flight, not to mention avoiding sitting next to people with attitudes like you. Also, the word is "WHINE".

I was on this flight, first class, second row. Believe me, we were ready to go home. When the flight attendant informed the pilot that passengers could hear his outburst, he replied `tell them to get the f... off the plane. That was all we needed to hear. I believe any reasonable person would have done the same thing we did. This pilot was in no condition to fly. I do not regret the decision for one minute. Anybody that says they would have stayed on the plane wan not there. Every person that heard this pilot deboarded, including the first class flight attendants. Enough said!

I definately dont believe the captain should have been unprofessional in front of the passengers. However, whether yall like to hear about it or not, its a different story once the cockpit door is closed. What do you think goes on behind the door? Pay attention to what we;re doing??? Its hard to when many of us have had our lives turned upside down, we're unable to pay off the debt it took to get to this point, the company is always using the the words "or you'll be fired". We are freakin sick of all the shit that we put up with, but cant leave because of the way this industry works. Then we arrive at work to be accused by gate agents, passengers, and our own company of being late, making the plane late, and being the cause of all that is evil. This is all while trying to deal with a totally screwed up personal life because of what this career does to you. Very very very few times have I flown with anyone who doesnt fit what Ive described, so please give these guys a break.
