The Wacky World of America's Roadside Attractions

Road Trips across America are made all the more exciting by the strange and bizarre roadside attractions which populate the highways.

I've always known there are a handful of gigantic donuts and buildings shaped like hot dogs across the greater United States, but I had no idea just how many crazy objects are actually out there until I visited Roadside Architecture.

This site painstakingly categorizes an extensive catalog of road side attractions. The home page can take you to the locations of Giant Food, Giant Things, Giant Containers, Giant Insects, Dinosaurs, Teepees, Tiki, Paul Bunyans, and many more. Or, visit the handy map of the USA and click on a specific state to locate all the wild eye candy which awaits the traveling road warrior.

Oh man, ya gotta love America!
