Video: Stardust Implosion, 1958-2007


Legendary Las Vegas Casino, Stardust Resort and Casino, was reduced to rubble early yesterday morning... and like all things in the Nevada desert, it went out in Las Vegas-style with fireworks, drunken partying, and an awkward countdown. I'd never been to the Stardust, but I saw Casino... so that should count for something, right? The building was leveled to make way for a multi-bagillion dollar casino-resort development called Echelon. So long, Old Vegas.
