TSA's Website Hacked OMGWTFLOL!!1

Uh oh. Yesterday was trouble for the TSA -- Wired reports that a hacker may have breeched their security and replaced the link for people thinking they might be on a government watch list with a identical-looking phishing site meant to harvest personal information from unsuspecting web surfers. The problem was quickly fixed, and a statement was issued by a rep from the TSA:

"We are aware there was an issue and replaced the site. The issue has been fully addressed. We take IT responsibilities seriously. There never [was?] a vulnerability; just a small glitch."

Wired goes on to list 15 clues as to why this may not have been a glitch and in fact a scam. Check it out. For tips on avoiding online phishing scams, visit the Anti-Phishing Working Group tips page.
