WiFi Locator

There seems to be a number of different ways popping up to locate free Wi-Fi hotspots around the globe these days. One of the better methods I’ve recently come across is a cool little website called JiWire which is a simple, user-friendly search site. Simply plug in a zip code or city and hit search.

A list of nearby hotspots will appear along with the networks which serve them. As an extra cool bonus, you can click on one of the spots and a map will pop up telling exactly where it is–very handy when you’re in some strange city!

The site details “142,335 free and paid WiFi hotspots in 131 countries” and can be searched by free or paid networks. Not too bad!
