A Travel New Year's Resolution: Take a Fitness Vacation
Raise your hand if you decided to shed a couple of extra pounds before summer this year? Most people tend to be fairly gung-ho about taking off the weight at the beginning of the year, but as the days starting passing interest in breaking a hard and nasty sweat tend to fizzle or the body just gets plain-out burned-out. Don't let either happen to you! Stick to your goal by doing whatever you need to the healthy way. The answer could be something as easy as a change of scenery, so why not take a fitness vacation? Lifetimetv.com has a fantastic list of 10 activities including locations where interested parties can join a yoga retreat, cycle through vineyards, hike up hills, and paddle in Belize. Working out in the gym is good, but wouldn't it be great to escape and lose weight? Perhaps I am the only one who thinks so.Filed under: Biking, Hiking, Learning, Paddling, Asia, Europe, North America

Hi!
I just wanted to let you know about our family fitness swim camps. The Race Club offers swim clinics and camps to swimmers of all levels throughout the world. Since we have so many Olympians as part of The Race Club, the attendees of our swimming clinics are always going to be able to work with athletes and coaches that have achieved a great amount of success in the sport! Age groupers, college athletes, and masters swimmers have benefited from individual coaching at The Race Club. I'd say that 99% of all swimmers consider themselves “beginners”, so we work a lot with swimmers who are just starting out and want to improve their techniques and training methods. Many families come down to join us for a luxurious, fitness vacation. Please visit our website to learn more about our camps and clinics. www.theraceclub.com
