There were four of us traveling, to Italy,(all women) we flew from Dulles International, just outside of Washington, D.C., to Milan, via, Al Italia, and as much as I have traveled in my lifetime, (which is quite a bit) I have only seen one country as beautiful as Italy. THat was driving from Vancouver, Canada, to Lake Louise, and Banff. We flew from Milan to Florence, got our hotel rooms, slept, and started our sightseeing the next day. In the time we spent in Italy, we saw Pisa, (seems to be getting to commercialized)spent a lot of time in Florence, then, on to the Eternal City, Rome, and the Vatican. Once we reached Rome, I felt like I was in heaven. I found it to be the most Spiritual city, I've ever been in. I was able to pray in St. Peter's, and felt as though my Savior was right there beside me, praying with me. Some day, I want to return to Rome, and spend much more time there, than I was able to this time. God Bless Italy, her people, and most of all, the Vatican, and Rome.
