Hello Erik/Gadling,
I created this graphic during the summer, after I had been somewhat inspired by a similar looking graph which appeared in the August '06 edition of National Geographic. The Geographic graph had to do with your odds of dying from any particular cause (cancer to firework accident). I thought it would be interesting to apply the same graphical treatment to National Park related numbers. I'm glad to read that you found it of interest! Thanks.
