Mexico Suggestions???
Just after Christmas is the time of year I usually disappear into some tropical vacation. If I were to blog about this, the posts would read something like... "Ate, slept, read, swam, lay out, ate, slept. Repeat."
This year I'm thinking of going to Mexico with my girlfriend and am reaching out to our Gadling readers for some suggestions. We are looking for a remote resort, away from the crowds, with a fantastic beach, clear blue waters, and great food. Not too much to ask, is it?
So if you have any cool recommendations, please shoot them our way. Gracias.

Here are my suggestions:
Gran Bay Isla Navidad in Manzanillo. Or, maybe some place in Huatulco.

I've heard Zihuatanejo has a relaxing pace. Here's an excerpt from a guide on TripHub: "Zihua maintains its fishing-village charm by government mandate: building codes are strict and therefore development is minimal."

If you want to get away from the crowds of the Mexican Riviera, Tulum is a great place to spend a few days. Stay in one of the many simple beach huts that predominate the area.

We have been going down to Aventura Spa Palace for 6 years now and it is MARVELOUS. It is north of Tulum by about 20 minutes in the region know as the "Riveria Maya" You couldn't ask for more pampering and special treatment than this resort has to offer. It is an all inclusive with 7 resorts to go to ALL available and ALL free to use. Check it out. The couples massages are so romantic and each room has a full size freestanding jacuzzi tub. Go to Manzanillo, it is 3 hours south of puerto Vallarta, and not nearly the tourist crowds. Beautiful ocen, beaches and great eats of many different varieties while all at a reasonable to cheap price. Las Hadas resort ( filming of "10"), Karmina Palace resort, all both inclusive, Or El Hotelito is a great small 8 room hotel, right on the beach with a room having a private balcony looking over the beach. I go to Manzanillo every month for at least one week and will go til the end of my time. Also Colima city os a beautiful drive and 1 hour away for a day get away, greta site seeing and an active volcano, all within a drive......... Hasta lavista and enjoy MEXICO!!!
