The trouble with T+L lists is that they only devote a scant 50 words or so to telling you about each resort. Not nearly enough info for a family to go ahead and drop $5,000 (or more, if you go by that list, which skews high-end). I prefer a more "warts and all" approach that doesn't sound like it was lifted from the hotel's brochure. Check out www.wejustgotback.com. The reviews are very detailed and "tell it like it is", right down to the hidden charges and disappointing little surprises. They are written by parents, so they focus on the elements parents need to know. Nice to have no surprises when you take the little ones away.... Plus there are really good tips from readers in the "Tip Sheets" section.
