Playboy Club Reopens
Visitors to Las Vegas this Friday will be able to witness a phoenix rising from the ashes of the old Playboy Empire. Of course, Hugh's Empire was never destroyed, but it did lose quite a bit of its luster in the early 1980s when business was down and the legendary Playboy Clubs scattered about the States were closed.
On October 6, the first of the new Playboy Clubs will open its doors in Las Vegas within the Palms Hotel. Nine blackjack tables, a dance floor, and presumably some decent looking women in bunny outfits will be on hand to deal cards and take your money.
High rollers looking for a little more action can rent out the world's most opulent bachelor pad: the $40,000 a night Hugh Hefner Sky Villa modeled, of course, after the Playboy Mansion. It's circular, rotating bed with mirrors on the ceiling will be the perfect place to kick back and watch Monday Night Football.

I am working on a documentary about the history of skiing in NJ and the legendary Playboy Club and Resort at Great Gorge was a big part of that history. If anyone has pictures or film of that club during its day I would very much appreciate hearing from you!
