Great story! I'm glad you enjoyed the southwest. I just wanted to clarify for you that the rock shown in your first picture is not Guadalupe Peak but El Capitan, the peak is obscured by El Capitan for most of the drive, but is visible in the background of your salt flat photo just to the left of El Capitan. Come Back Soon!
