I have been going to the Explorers Club for many years and I met Mr. Wiese. He was a pompous ass actually. He was so superficial, I found his commentaries to be pretty stupid.
His time at the club he promoted himself, he had nothing else to do, he needed publicity and he networked his way to go to gala events free. He wasconstantly name dropping. Every conversation he has is streamlined to himself, he is like Dudley Do-right if you ask me. I think the Outside article mentioning his not very suave manner of hosting an event and the fact that his show is the ultimate in boredom was very true. Yes he is photogenic, but not aging gracefully, he has no gift for much else. His explorations seems to be tagged to others merits. His own are merely poor gimmicks to promote hia ailing looks.
