Well it's true that the city doesn't have much to offer inside except the old street you mentioned above. However, from nature I find it one of the most attractive cities in Albania. Mountains, two rivers, lake Shkodra and sea are all within 20 km. When you are in the Rozafa castle you can see all of them. Next time you should try the fish dishes they cook in Shiroke, besides Shkodra lake.
