silly season is here again...they run this story every single summer! It is a bit more popular than it was, but its the same idiots buying exact replicas of Kelly Slater's boards and then wondering why they don't rip. Or why they can't even get out back...
BIG tidal ranges in Devon and Cornwall (the surfing areas) which means LONG paddle-outs. Anything bigger than a few feet high and the 'all the gear and no idea' types can't get out back anyway.
