There are, however, a slew of niche sites that specialize in more out-of-the-ordinary hotels. Budget Travel thoughtfully lists nearly 20 of them that can direct the discerning traveler towards more unique lodgings such as BedandBreakfast.com, for example, and HistoricHotelsofEurope.com–both of whose services are self-explanatory, and welcomed.
