European Rail Passes
Summer's almost here, you're on your way to Europe, and now you've got to answer the big question: Which rail pass is best for my travels?
Thankfully, The Telegraph (UK) has compiled a short list of the more popular rail passes and what each has to offer. Pick and choose depending upon which countries you plan to visit. And remember, deals are especially great for those under 26 years of age.
Inter-Rail Pass – Covers nearly all European countries, unlimited travel
ScanRail Pass - Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden
EuroDomino Pass - 25 European and North African countries (except France and Italy)
France Pass – National Pass
Italy Pass – National Pass
Switzerland Pass – National Pass
Since this is a British newspaper, they do not cover Eurail passes which are only available to non-Europeans. If you have a passport from a non-European country, you may want to check out the Eurail site first.

I just have to say the ScanRail pass is amazing! best deal of all of them, in my personal opinion.

I used the "travel any 10 days" Eurail Pass this year and LOVED it. However, I now wish I'd gotten the unlimited 3-month pass.
