You are reading too much into this whole utopian society thing. Tribewanted is basically an extremely affordable timeshare to an eco friendly resort that hasn't been built yet.

Just like with a timeshare where you have an owners association, etc. the tribe members are that association.

It is actually a pretty good idea... it will be interesting to see how it pans out.
