Photo of the Day (4/17/06)

I've mentioned before my love of European cities at night -- and this photograph of the canals of Amsterdam, taken by Fred Hsu, illustrates my point beautifully. I love how the stillness of the water reflects the lights of the buildings above -- the bridge from which the photo was taken looks like a very romantic place, indeed.

Nice one. One more reason to see Amsterdam at night is its lights :)

That's the famous flower market on the right... a good area of town. From the pic, take a left and in 5 minutes you hit the Red Light District (eww), or, take a right and in 5 minutes you're in the heart of the nightlife.
