The fifth island in the bocas is not Gasparillo, it is named Patos and is actually Venezuelan. The other four islands, Gasparee, Monos, Huevos and Chacachacare are all Trinidadian territory. Although some of the homes on these islands may be appear lavish, in general it is much more accurate to describe them as cottages - and only Gasparee and Monos really have significant numbers of cottages on them. Chacachacare is best known for its abandoned leper colony.
