Hippest Spot in... Portland, Oregon?
So help me out. Those of you who are still single and hip. Those of you who aspire to be. Where is the absolute best, top, trendier-than-thou hipper-than-hip place to sip a cocktail in Portland, Oregon? I'm considering the following:
- Doug Fir Lounge, 830 E Burnside
- 820 / Mint, 820 N Russell
- clarklewis (although we've been there), 1001 SE Water

All those places are good. If I had to pick one it would be Mint. THere's also the Brazen Bean with great martinis on NW 21st and Glisan and Moo Moos just a little down the street that are a little more intimate.

Jolly Inn at 1937 SE 11th Ave
Pub at the End of the Universe at 4107 SE 28th Ave

Blue Hour in the Pearl is "the" place to be seen. Food & cocktails are fantastic, but $$$. Same owners as clarklewis. Higgins Restaurant has one of the most complete assortments of beer in Portland. The bar is very cool. Not the place to spend the whole evening, but definately a good place to stop for a great martini.
