Airbus A380 Passes Safety Test

AirbusConsidering only one man broke his leg and 32 people suffered from minor injuries during the Airbus A380 super jumbo jet evacuation test and exercise in Hamburg, Germany the plane passed its test. Wow! We've been hearing about this jumbo jet for ages it seems and with the success of this test it gets one step closer to commercial service. The evacuation of 853 people and 20 crew in the emergency drill took place in 80 seconds, meaning everyone got out the plane in 80 seconds and was under tight supervision of the European  certification authority and the a representative of the U.S. Federal Aviation Authority. When you think about it, that is really impressive though it makes me wonder what the full test conditions are like? I'm sure the results are quite different in (whispers) real deal emergency situations.
