Catalina use to be a great location for hunting pigs as well. What madw hunting pigs fun near White's Point on Catalina was tracking them into the interior, where they would cut through the huge Wrigley buffalo herd.
I'm an old dude now, and I while I don't hunt much, I still go up to the Ukiah/Lake Mendocino Area to hunt pigs once every couple of years.
